Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operation of the project.
2. Build, develop and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project.
3. Represent the Management in correspondences and meeting concerning the project.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations, company policies, work instructions and procedures to the team members.
5. Liaise with the PM on the resources needed to achieve project goals.
6. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
7. Determine the needed additional staff/personnel and get involved in the hiring and selection process.
8. Delegate task and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
9. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
10. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
11. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
12. Track project milestones and deliverables.
13. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentations and presentations.
14. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem, areas.
15. Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
16. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
17. Chair the company’s Safety & Health Committee within the project.
18. Workout safety work procedures, implement risk management, identify and resolve safe hazards and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for the project team.
19. Identify and recommend necessary training for staff development.
20. Any other duties that the Management may find applicable and necessary.
Meetings & Reports:
1. Chair and guide the supervisor in conducting the daily toolbox meeting.
2. Chair the operations meeting pertaining to the project involved.
3. Keep records of all meetings concerned (operations & tool box).
4. Submit reports to the Management on a monthly basis
5. Submit reports on an annually or semi-annually or quarterly whichever applicable concerning the project:
a. Workers and supervisor appraisal and assessment – semi annual
b. Customer’s satisfaction Survey – semi-annual
c. Project Budget – semi-annual
d. Risk Management Report / Risk Assessment – semi-annual if possible
e. Continuous Improvement Plan for the project concerned - annual
f. Quality Objective for the project concerned - annual
