Accounting Manager

Book-keeping, Accounts finalization and GST for Singapore based clients of the firm. This role will take independent charge of managing the work and client relationships under mentoring of other senior members.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Independently handling the client accounting engagements from the client pitch/ proposal stage to execution.
• Fund accounting, accounting for fund managers and filing of MAS Quarterly and Annual Forms for fund managers.
• Adhere to the accounting standards and other accounting processes while taking a hands-on approach with a willingness to complete the work as a sole contributor, where required
• Proficiently dealing with all GST implications arising from the accounting or otherwise
• The practice entails review and record of all financial transactions, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of all financial activities, finalization, cash flow reports, and performance analysis, audit coordination, preparation of various reports/ statutory forms, GST compliances and related matters
• Prepare/review and present financial statements (IFRS), cash flow reports, and performance analysis to stakeholders and Investors.
• Continuous efforts towards the process and client relationship development

Educational Background & Desired Experience:

• Graduates/ACCA (or equivalent degrees) with 5-10 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of key accounting standards
• Dealing with multiple client accounting engagement independently for at least 3 years from client pitch, book-keeping to finalisation, audit coordination and GST matters
• Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), particularly an ability to understand & create financial reports with MS Excel.
• Understanding of ERP systems such as QuickBooks or Xero will be an added advantage. If not these, hands-on experience of at least one ERP is a must.
