DESIGNATION : Associate Producer, Current Affairs

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requisition of props, makeup and costumes.
  • Manage talents and crew during filming and see to crowd control.
  • Prepare production and editing schedules
  • Book and coordination of key personnel, facilities and services for production.
  • Edit support, such as footage wrangling, ingestion and transcribing.
  • Manage budget and administration on contracts suppliers and personnel.
  • Assist to organize workflows to meet programme specifications and deadlines
  • Assist with programme promotions and handle telecast bookings accordingly
  • Clear copyright for productions
  • Needs to be a team player as role requires close coordination and collaboration with internal and external colleagues/partners.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in any discipline
  • Some knowledge of television production.
  • Have a good command of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Keen interest and ability to tell a good story, with excellent writing skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, able to process and organise information well.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of current affairs, especially developments in the Asia region.
  • Flexibility in handling different topics and programme types.
  • Ability to juggle competing deadlines, and put in long and irregular hours when required.
  • An independent thinker who is also a team player
