Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• To provide technical support related to our brand's industrial weighing controllers, scales, software and related accessories
• Responsible for self-learning, researching and proposing appropriate equipment that suits customer's functional and budgetary requirements
• As part of the project team, participate in project coordination, sourcing of supplier/instruments, design and execution of projects.
• Conduct internal and external product training
• Present in seminars/webinars
• To understand customer's requirements and carry out allocated work efficiently to achieve committed system performance and communication with external instruments.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in any engineering discipline preferably in Engineering or IT
• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in an engineering role with knowledge in IT, PLC, system connectivity and basic electrical knowledge
• Competency in software pre and post-sales is an advantage
• Ability to own and independently close a project/job using resources available
• Attention to details with appreciation of customer processes and the project life cycle
• Ability to deliver a good technical presentation in English
• Ability to conduct technical training internally and externally
• Ability to build good rapport with customers and colleagues
• Willingness to put in extra hours when required
• Must live or relocate to Singapore, this is a non-regional position
