Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (Selenium)

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our innovative team.

As an automation engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using various frameworks. Your expertise will drive the automation strategy, ensuring robust and reliable testing processes across our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium and Cypress
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define comprehensive test strategies
• Execute automated tests to validate functionality, identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Enhance automation frameworks to boost test coverage, efficiency and reliability
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights on software quality to stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices within the team
• Stay current with industry trends in automation to continuously improve our testing processes
• Advocate for and implement efficient testing methodologies to enhance the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium and Cypress
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python, and a solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Experience with web technologies, including HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• A detail-oriented problem solver with exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Proactive and dedicated to continuous professional growth
