Project Engineer

Responsibility

• Reports to the Project Director
• Coordinate and supervise project work on various site.
• Implement project planning, design, material requisition, cost control and documentation.
• Ensure smooth progress of works on site and timely completion.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants and suppliers on all project related matter.
• Liaising with sub-contractors and specialist contractors to ensure smooth completion of the projects.
• Prepare, review and submit all detailed drawings, cutting plan, programmes, schedule, method statement, technical proposal and/or risk assessment proposals.
• Prepare cost estimation and budgeting of tender & project
• Conduct internal, subcontractor and site staff safety meeting/briefing, when required.
• Lead a team of technical staff and workers in the execution of day to day operations.
• To call materials suppliers for quotations To prepare documents for project submission To prepare cost estimation and budgeting of project
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to converse in Mandarin and English (Due to Chinese-speaking clients)
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 2 years' experience
• Able to independently prepare drawings and related plans for submission for approval.
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suites (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Working hours : Monday to Friday (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)
