Role
Agora is seeking a highly organised and proactive Finance & Admin Executive to support our growing operations. If you’re comfortable with numbers, meticulous with processes, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven education business, we’d love to hear from you.
This role will work closely with the Founders and cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial oversight and smooth administrative operations across our centres. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow with us and take on greater responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Support month-end closing activities across multiple entities, in collaboration with our offshore finance team
- Prepare and generate monthly financial and management reports
- Manage full accounts payable cycle: invoice processing, vendor liaison, and payment scheduling
- Manage full accounts receivable cycle: student billing, payment tracking, and overdue follow-ups
- Oversee team expense submissions and approvals via Aspire
- Assist in GST filings and compliance
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial processes and support external audit preparation
Administration & Compliance
- Implement and manage inventory and stock-taking processes for centre supplies
- Assist in streamlining operational workflows to improve efficiency and control
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Strong financial acumen with solid accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret and present financial reports
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and workflow/task management tools
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in finance and administrative support; prior experience in the education sector is a plus
- Organised and detail-oriented with a hands-on attitude and strong time management skills
- Problem-solver: Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and functions
