Inventory Control : Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that all purchased items meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Cost Control : Work to ensure that all purchases are made within budget, striving for cost savings without compromising quality.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier correspondence. Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and expenditures.
Compliance : Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
