Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within our interior design company. This role requires a strategic and hands-on individual who can develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the company's creative culture and business objectives. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent in the design industry, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various management roles
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Relations & Culture:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness within the interior design industry.
  • Manage payroll, benefits enrolment, and leave management.

HR Administration / Contracts:

  • Preparing or reviewing employment contracts
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations (e.g., employment standards, health and safety).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and company HR policies

Work Pass & MOM Compliance:

  • Applying for and renewing Employment Passes (EP), S Passes, etc.
  • Ensuring MOM compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least [3] years in a management or generalist role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
