Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT and infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating resources, scheduling tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones, while maintaining project documentation and communication across teams. The Project Coordinator will also support technical oversight, budgeting, and compliance to project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of project deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, reports, trackers, and status dashboards.
- Identify potential risks or delays and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Support project budgeting, resource tracking, and invoicing coordination.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Assign and oversee daily tasks of IT technical staff, ensuring progress toward project goals.
- Conduct regular technical team meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and align on deliverables.
- Plan and lead the execution of project implementation involving system analysis and application development.
- Monitor progress, anticipate challenges, and proactively resolve roadblocks.
- Establish and implement training strategies for technical staff to build project readiness and competence.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT industry
- Proficient in English; ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus (role may involve interaction with Chinese-speaking customers)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Being process-oriented, responsible, and pro-active
