  • Originating and onboarding new institutions & fund customers to ICICI Bank and developing and maintaining good relationships with customers in South East Asia, primarily in Singapore.
  • Preparing institutional credit proposals, coordinating with other departments for approvals and undertaking credit monitoring & asset reviews of the portfolio institutions, including compliances with credit terms/ regulations
  • Performing due diligence checks and completing required KYC for onboarding of these clients
  • Executing transactions in a timely and efficient manner in line with customer expectations
  • Understanding regulatory and compliance guidelines and carrying out day-to-day activities within defined frameworks
  • Source new business for FPIs, FDIs, FVCIs, covering Custody (within guided framework) through engagement with own connections and intermediary channels & service providers.
  • Work closely with the India business team to target new institutional, funds and custody business, facilitate the onboarding of clients, and promptly address client queries
  • Work with the client on account structure to streamline the account registration process and support custody product owner in revenue-engineering activities
  • Cultivate relationships with intermediaries such as tax, legal, broking firms, and consultants to explore business opportunities
  • Ensure that all Service Level Standards agreed with various stakeholders and clients are met with high levels of integrity and professionalism
  • Analyse and interpret industry dynamics, competitor developments, and product intelligence for their impact on the business
  • Act as the primary point of contact for custody business inquiries, addressing concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver
  • Keep abreast of market developments in India and provide clients/prospects with regular updates
  • Seek networking opportunities and participate in industry events
  • Provide feedback to the India team of client/ prospect expectancies, market intelligence
  • Collaborate with local market experts, as may be identified from time to time
  • Participate in key events, Roadshows, Webinars and have regional coverage as permitted
  • Maximizing business opportunities thus contributing to the overall profitability of the Branch and the Bank
  • Develop and implement product strategies to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives and strategies
  • Lead a team of Relationship Managers and Customer Service Managers as required
  • Any other relevant task as assigned by the Reporting Manager


Requriements:


  • 4+ years of relevant banking experience
  • Understanding of FX, Derivatives and Fund Manager- Fund Vehicle structures, Insitutional Banking space
  • Understanding of FDI/ FPI investments into the Indian market
