Accounts Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Executive / Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial operations, ensuring compliance, supporting strategic planning, and contributing to overall financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Implement and uphold financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
• Work with department heads to prepare and manage annual budgets.
• Monitor budget performance and drive cost control initiatives.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Manage cash flow planning and ensure adequate funding.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial guidance to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Location: Tuas

Free shuttle bus provided at Chinese Garden MRT

Salary: Up to $5500 (commensurate with experience)

Working Hour: 5 day work week, Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm
