Mechanical Engineer (Topside Module Layout)

Responsibilities:

• Review and comment on topside 3D models, engineering drawings, and material handling plans prepared by subcontractors.
• Ensure the use of the latest approved technical information and follow up on open comments.
• Verify the proper implementation of agreed solutions on closed comments.
• Coordinate with Package Responsible Engineers (PREs) to ensure the Master Equipment List and Weight Control Report are accurately populated.
• Compile material take-offs (MTO) for topside equipment, fasteners, and insulation for procurement.
• Understand and support Information Management (IM) requirements applicable to the discipline.
Coordinate with the team on engineering database development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the marine, offshore, or renewable energy sectors.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools: AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Cadmatic 3D, Navisworks, SP3D, etc.
Background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer is a strong advantage
