PCB Design Engineer (MNC - Electronic/Semiconductor)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to support the design and development of mixed-signal circuit boards for advanced electronic systems. This role requires experience in analog and digital circuit design, FPGA integration, schematic capture, and PCB layout. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, manufacturable, and reliable hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mixed-signal PCB layouts including high-speed digital and precision analog circuits.
• Create and review schematics, component selection, and BOM generation based on project requirements.
• Integrate FPGA-based solutions into board-level designs, ensuring proper signal integrity and performance.
• Work with hardware, software, and mechanical teams for end-to-end product development.
• Perform design simulations, signal integrity analysis, and thermal management evaluations.
• Support prototype bring-up, board testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing teams for board fabrication and assembly.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control throughout the design lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in PCB design, particularly in mixed-signal and high-speed digital systems.
• Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit theory, power electronics, and signal conditioning.
• Proficient in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera), including integration and validation.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and grounding strategies.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
