Material Handling & Inventory Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Procurement coordination

• Monitor production schedule and inventory stocks to ensure stoke sufficiency
• Generate and submit accurate e-Purchase Requests in a timely manner
• Track Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Orders (DO)
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding order status, delays or discrepancies

2. Inventory Management

• Receive, label and store incoming materials
• Maintain organised and accurate check-in/check-out system
• Ensure accurate accounting of inventory

3. Tools Management

• Ensure tracked tools are properly handled, tracked and stored between uses

4. Documentation

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all procurement and inventory transactions

5. Production

• Aid production team in administrative and logstics requirements (e.g coordinating transport)

Qualifications:

• Experience in material handling, inventory control or procurement support

• Familiarity with inventory management systems

• Strong oragnisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail

• Comfortable with office and productivity tools
