Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is seeking a self-driven and analytically strong Business and Data Analyst to
join our team. This is a cross-functional role that blends business insight, data engineering,
and analytical storytelling. You will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders
across departments: Tech, Sales, Licensing, and Marketing, to uncover insights, streamline
data processes, and build scalable analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, enjoys
analytical storytelling, and solving business problems with data. You will not just report on
numbers: you will work on real-world projects, contributing to customer analysis,
data-driven decision-making, and building analytics pipelines. You will also gain experience
working with tools like Shopify, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Google Analytics,
Facebook Ads, Tableau, and SQL, while collaborating with tech, marketing, sales, and
product teams.

Responsibilities

Strategic Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Partner with senior management to shape strategic decisions through deep-dive
analyses and data-driven recommendations.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that provide actionable,
real-time insights into business performance for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Track and analyse core KPIs across sales regions (APAC, EMEA, AMER), sales funnels,
marketing campaigns, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth
and optimisation.
  • Establish and champion a self-service BI culture, empowering business teams with
the tools and knowledge to make data-informed decisions.

Data Engineering & Analytics Pipelines

  • Own and enhance our Data Warehouse ETL pipelines using Python and SQL to
enable reliable, reproducible, and scalable analyses.
  • Implement and oversee data governance processes across key analytics platforms,
including Business Central, Azure SQL Database, Tableau Online, and Google
Analytics
  • Collaborate with Product, Licensing, and Operations teams to improve and maintain
core data assets like our SKU Master and contract databases.

Advanced Analytics Projects

  • Collaborate with the Tech team on developing features and functionalities using
machine learning algorithms, create a data pipeline, and generate the data
dashboards.
  • Work closely with the Tech team and other internal stakeholders to utilise Large
Language Models (LLMs) to unlock business insights, e.g. Q&A chatbot for legal
contracts

Requirements

  • Prior experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
Experience working with Business Central APIs, Web Services and report objects
would be a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear,
actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • A "full-stack" analytics skillset, including:
  • SQL: Ability to write complex queries, some understanding of database
design concepts, and scheduling stored procedures. .
  • Python: Experience with using data manipulation libraries, especially pandas.
  • Tableau: To build insightful dashboards.
  • A growth mindset - an ideal candidate would be someone who is curious, eager to
learn new technologies, and comfortable with iteration and feedback.
  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and scheduling skills.
  • Meticulous and excellent project management skills.
