Server and Barista

Job Summary:
The role is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and tea drinks, while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes take orders and deliver food and beverages to our guests and customers. The ideal candidate will have patience, personality and perseverance to thrive to uplift the dining experience of our guest.

Key Responsibilities:
· Able to do proper latte art and have relevant cafe/restaurant experience;

• Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times;

• Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed;

• Ensure proper procedures for order entry and payment processing using POS systems;

• Ensure guests are charged correctly and receive proof of payment in a timely manner;

• Adhere to all company service standards and protocols;

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of service tools and service areas;

• Clean tables, preparation of table plans and lay out, complete closing duties and re-stock table ware and other supplies; and

• Any other requirement by the Company or management.
  

Requirements:
• High school diploma

• 1-2 years work experience as server and barista.
• Hands on experience with cash register and ordering information system (Lunchbox is a plus).
• Attentive and patient to guests
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Team spirit.

• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Possess a well groomed and professional appearance

• Food safety training is a plus.
