Job Purpose
To safeguard the company’s digital assets, event management systems, POS networks, customer data, and operational IT infrastructure from internal and external cyber threats. The Cybersecurity Executive will work closely with the operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure secure and compliant digital environments across all outlets and event platforms.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage cybersecurity protocols across restaurant POS systems, event booking platforms, and internal networks.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, anti-virus tools, endpoint security, and network access control.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on all digital systems and Wi-Fi networks.
- Oversee security for cloud-based systems, CCTV access, staff devices, and third-party vendor integrations.
- Investigate, document, and respond to security breaches, phishing attempts, or data leaks.
- Ensure compliance with PDPA and other data protection regulations relevant to customer reservations, loyalty databases, and payment systems.
- Collaborate with outsourced IT vendors to ensure secure infrastructure design and prompt resolution of threats.
- Provide cyber hygiene training for staff handling sensitive customer data, event registrations, or using company systems.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery planning for critical digital assets. Generate monthly reports on cybersecurity posture, incidents, and system improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Basic certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar
- Knowledge of restaurant tech systems (e.g., POS, Wi-Fi, IoT devices) and event ticketing/payment platforms is a plus
- Good understanding of firewalls, SIEM tools, intrusion detection, and endpoint security
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations (restaurants and event sites)
- Strong problem-solving and incident response skills
- Familiarity with PDPA and IT governance frameworks
