Job Description:
- Support appropriate business operations as the ENEOS Group's overseas group company, and initiatives to improve the efficiency of business operations.
- Assist the Managing Director's mission from financial and administrative perspective, and at the same time, coordinate with the other Deputy Managing Directors and department heads to ensure that the Managing Director's intentions are disseminated throughout the company.
- Ensure the implementation of accounting/finance operations, which are increasing with the expansion of business volume, and ensure the execution of budget planning, account closing and performance analysis which are the pillars of corporate management.
- Contribute to "profit realization and preventing loss of profits and damages" by identifying risks and proposing countermeasures in accounting and legal aspects for new transactions and business models initiated by other departments.
- Strengthen the corporate governance by improving the knowledge/awareness of "compliance" among employees as well as management.
- Contribute to identify and develop personnel with potential management and/or senior professionals of the company.
- Improve business efficiency from IT perspective.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Managing Director as and when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent is required.
- At least 20 years of relevant experience in petroleum trading / petroleum and gas industries.
- At least 20 years work experience in administrative functions such like legal, finance, accounting or human resources.
- Experience as a management of the company.
- Good knowledge of business management regarding legal, finance, accounting and human resources.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Ability to communicate in fluent English to communicate with colleague and clients well.
- Ability to speak and write in fluent Japanese language is required to communicate and negotiate with Japanese speaking associates and clients and to report to headquarter managements and employees in Japan who cannot speak and write in English well.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a strategic mind.
- Meticulous with good communication and presentation skills.
- An effective team player who is innovative and forward thinking.
