Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the structural design, development, and optimization of products, ensuring alignment with functional, cost, manufacturability, and quality requirements.
• Conduct structural and material selection analysis; perform strength, stiffness, and tolerance analyses to ensure robust and reliable designs.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle—from initial design through to mass production—resolving technical challenges during both development and manufacturing phases.
• Prepare and review technical documentation related to product design, including engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and specifications.
• Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of product components.
• Support project management activities and client communications, contributing to effective project execution and timely delivery.
Travel to manufacturing facilities in China as required for factory training, technical support, and collaboration with production teams

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design & Automation or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in structural design; experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient in English as a working language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in using structural design software such as SolidWorks, Pro/E (Creo), or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of the design and manufacturing processes for both plastic and metal parts, including injection molding, stamping, and die casting techniques.
• Strong capability in tolerance analysis, with the ability to independently perform structural strength and stiffness calculations.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate across departments and work in a team-oriented environment
