Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles
• Proficiency in cost estimation and quantity takeoff techniques
• Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and procurement processes
• Analytical skills to evaluate and manage project costs effectively

Requirements

• Candidate must obtain at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent degrees that is recognised by PE board or other equivalent.
• Fresh Graduates are welcomed. 1-2 year relevant experience in the related field for this position shall be preferable
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying, such as cost estimating software and project management applications
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
• 5 days work week
