Field Technician - Part time

Job Description:

Field Staff Work Hours PartTime: - Any 3 days from Mon to Saturday, 7.0am to 12.00pm

Lunch Break: 12.30pm to 1.30pm subject to variation depending on operational requirements

Responsibilities:

• Applications from candidates with experience in catering and service work are encouraged.
• Experience in automation, operations, production, or related fields is optional but preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
• Physically fit to perform manual work and able to carry out repetitive job activities over a period of time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to drive a class 3 vehicle
• Trapping and surveillance, and post-trapping species identification.
• Arrange for vehicle logistics, including maintenance, servicing, and regular checks of release and transport vans.
• Follow a schedule of field release of Verily-reared mosquitoes at release sites.
• Conduct community engagement with residents around mosquito field trials, following the guidelines of Verily.
• Field role needs to do a lot of walking up and down the different levels of block of flats to release mosquitoes.
