A leading financial services organisation, committed to delivering top-tier financial solutions, is seeking an accomplished Head of HR or Senior HR Manager to lead their Singapore-based HR team.
About the Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking Head of HR to lead the development of the people agenda. As the company experiences rapid growth, this newly created role will be instrumental in building HR structure, aligning people strategies with business goals, cultivating a high-performance culture, and strengthening employee engagement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
- Provide expert advice on HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Design and execute talent management programs, succession planning, and initiatives to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
- Lead the development of the HR Function reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures .
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while embedding HR best practices.
- Cultivate an inclusive, engaged, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent in the financial services sector.
- Take the lead in reviewing the organisations benefits framework, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with market standards
The Team & Reporting Structure
This role reports to the CEO and the Global HR Director, leading a small team of HR generalists to ensure both strategic and operational HR functions are effectively managed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources and has over ten years of HR experience, including at least five in a strategic leadership role within investment management or financial services. You will have a strong ability to partner with senior leaders and influence key decisions. A proven track record of establishing HR structures, developing processes to support organisational growth, and fostering a people-centric culture is essential. Strong communication skills, a structured approach to HR, and a problem-solving mindset will be key to success in this role. As the role requires regular communication with colleagues at headquarters in China, fluency in Mandarin is essential to facilitate effective collaboration and understanding.
