DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors during design development.
• Review and manage design submissions, shop drawings, and construction drawings for compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• Ensure design alignment with buildability, functionality, cost efficiency, and safety.
• Project Coordination related works.
• Provide technical advice and solutions for site construction issues relating to design.
• Monitor the design schedule to ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents.
• Ensure design elements stay within budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain accurate design documentation, reports, and version control.
Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in design/project coordination within the building construction industry in Singapore.
• Strong experience in A&A (Addition & Alteration), upgrading, or large-scale building projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other design software.
• Familiar with local building codes and regulations (BCA, SCDF, etc.).
Knowledge of construction sequencing and design integration

• Capable of working under tight schedules with attention to detail.
