We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager with F&B experience to oversee all financial functions for the restaurant and its group of companies.
Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in financial planning and be actively involved in supporting business growth and operational efficiency across the group.
Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations for the restaurant and group entities.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and management reports.
- Consolidate financial statements for the group of companies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements (IRAS, ACRA, GST, etc.).
2. 2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget planning and forecasting processes.
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
- Advise management on cost control, profitability, and investment decisions.
3. 3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital.
- Monitor and forecast cash positions and funding requirements.
- Optimize the group's financial resources and liquidity position.
4. 4. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Establish and enforce internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings, CPF, GST, and annual returns.
5. 5. Operations Support
- Supervise restaurant-related financial operations including POS reconciliation, inventory costing, vendor payments.
- Work closely with restaurant and operational teams to ensure financial alignment.
- Provide business and financial insights to aid operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to F&B
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and corporate tax.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous, analytical, and hands-on with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities across entities.
