Role & Responsibilities
The role sits within the Digital Business department and will work alongside various sales, marketing, product, and licensing teams based in Asia, Japan, America and Europe. You will be responsible for planning, organizing and submitting the promotional sales of our digital products and related content (DLCs) on first-party video game platforms such as PlayStation Store, Steam, Nintendo eShop and MS store as well as proactively analyzing and identifying digital business opportunities. It requires a blend of sales acumen, digital marketing knowledge, and analytical skills to effectively drive revenue through online channels.
- Campaign Management : To coordinate digital promotion campaigns, collaborating closely with marketing, finance, and other sales departments to ensure cohesive and impactful promotions.
- Platform Management : Curate and submit promotional lineups across various digital store platforms, optimizing product placement for maximum visibility and sales performance to achieve company targets.
- Performance Analysis : Generate and analyse comprehensive reports on campaign results, using data-driven insights to propose future strategies that improve sales performance.
- Market Intelligence : Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify and propose innovative sales initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing teams to align digital sales strategies with overall brand and product goals.
- Channel Optimization : Continuously refine and optimize our presence and performance within digital distribution channels.
Note: This role may evolve over time to adapt to the dynamic nature of the gaming industry and our company's growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sales,Digital Marketing, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales development, preferably in a digital or e-commerce environment in APAC region.
- Affinity with the intellectual properties distributed by Bandai Namco is highly appreciated.
- Strong understanding of digital stores and the gaming industry landscape.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of successful multitasking.
- Proactive learning attitude with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Strong teamwork skills coupled with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive results.
- Proficiency in English, basic read/write in Chinese, Korean or Japanese is preferred.
