Job Summary:
The Mortgage Sales Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and sales support to mortgage loan manager, assisting in all phases of the mortgage loan process from initial application to closing. This role is vital in streamlining operations, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
o Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on loan status, answering inquiries, and guiding them through the application process.
o Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
o Maintain regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys to keep them informed of loan progress.
o Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive client experience.
o Assist loan manager in preparing and submitting mortgage loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
o Collect, review, and verify all necessary supporting documentation from clients
o Organize and maintain accurate client files and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
o Identify and resolve discrepancies or omissions in loan documentation.
o Assist in preparing loan files for underwriting and ensure all conditions are met.
o Monitor loan pipelines and track progress to ensure timely processing and adherence to deadlines.
o Assist in nurturing relationships with referral partners to develop new business opportunities.
o Provide administrative support for marketing efforts and client outreach.
o May assist in pre-qualifying clients by reviewing basic financial information.
o Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, screening calls, and managing correspondence.
