DESIGNATION : Executive/Senior Executive, Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in preparing site visits requirements.
  • Assist in preparing event signage as per event requirements.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure Centre is ready to receive guest.
  • Perform routine environmental, health and safety inspections to ensure potential hazards, debris and unwanted objects within the Centre are removed promptly.
  • Perform pre-event inspections to ensure the exhibition halls are ready to handover to event organizers.
  • Perform joint inspection with event organizers to handover and takeover of all venue spaces.
  • Perform regular risk and safety inspections during events and work closely with event organisers to resolve any non-conformities.
  • Perform crowd control and assisting with car park and traffic management duties during high crowd events.
  • Perform roles as first aider and CERT during emergency (training will be provided).
  • Ensure car park and cleaning work orders are raised accurately and timely.
  • Ensure logistical and technical requirements of all events are met.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure their services are done in accordance with specifications or requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by your Reporting Officer.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Higher NITEC or Diploma in Events Management or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to solve problems under pressure.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of operations and logistics requriements for events and exhibitions.
  • Meticulous, detailed, resourceful, independent and a team player.
  • Committed to shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
