Marketing & Communications Executive (3-yr Contract)

Job Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Executive plays an important role in the promotion of Police Co-op’s membership benefits, savings schemes, loan products, events, and campaigns. The Executive will implement marketing initiatives to enhance members’ engagement, grow brand awareness, and support communication efforts on both online and offline channels. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, strong in media publicity and content creation skills, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Engagement & Marketing
- Plan and execute campaigns to promote membership, events, and product offerings to achieve set targets by Management.
- Support outreach efforts to existing and potential members through emails, posters, and social media.
- Coordinate engagement activities such as member talks, roadshows, appreciation events and overseas trips.
Digital & Social Media Publicity
- Manage and enhance Police Co-op’s digital presence and brand awareness, including website and social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Draft and schedule publicity contents (e.g. posts, announcements, promotions).
- Monitor engagement, compile metrics, and suggest improvements to increase outreach and improve membership rates.
Content Creation & Design of Marketing Materials
- Create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and presentation decks.
- Capture photos/videos from Co-op events and activities and curate publicity materials and outreach content.
- Maintain brand consistency in all communications.
Administrative & Support Duties
- Maintain marketing and event inventories (e.g., goodie bags, banners, publications).
- Prepare reports for Board meetings and Management related to memberships, marketing and campaigns.
- Correspond with external parties on sponsorship, feedback etc.
- Provide support to the Customer Service Team and liaise with vendors when needed.
- Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytical tools like Google Analytics and social media insights
Requirements
- A Degree in Marketing or related field from a recognised institution is preferred
- Good writing and content creation skills, including design of publicity and social media materials
- Familiar with software such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media tools
- Photo/video editing skills
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing role will be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
This is a 3-year contract position with the possibility for conversion to a permanent role or renewal upon completion of the contract term.
