PIPING SUPERVISOR

Job description shall be as per listed but not limited to the below:

• Pre-fabrication yard supervision
• To check issued drawings for fabrication
• To plan schedule fabrication work
• To improve process flow
• Quality check
• Material order
• To manage workers & welder in yard
• May be required to undertake other reasonable duties whenever or as required by the nature of business.
• Shall be reporting to the Project Engineer, Project Manager his authorised representative
• Perform or assist in pipe fit-up, alignment, and positioning tasks during critical or complex installations
• Prepare and inspect joints before welding.
• Assist or demonstrate correct tack welding techniques or root passes if required (especially during urgent or training needs).
• Occasionally assist with or supervise manual or mechanical cutting, beveling, and bending of pipes.
• Help fabricate and install pipe supports or guide teams in doing so, ensuring correct spacing and type
• Able to interpret draw ISO drawing
