OMNIVISION is seeking a highly motivated Jr. Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help maintain a strong Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) environment. Responsibilities include reviewing current and new business processes, identifying risks, recommending improvements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant internal control frameworks. This role will report to the Sr. Internal Auditor at the company's headquarters in California, United States Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing the annual internal control project plan to ensure compliance with China’s Basic Standards for Enterprise Internal Control framework.
  • Collaborate with process owners to conduct financial and IT control tests in accordance with the Company’s audit plan for internal control over financial reporting (ICFR).
  • Proactively partner with business process owners on documentation updates, sample requests, and process walkthroughs.
  • Maintain a master inventory of process narratives, including Chinese translations where applicable.
  • Support the evaluation of new processes, policies, and systems to improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in communications with external auditors, consultants, and business process owners.
  • Build strong business relationships by proactively engaging with process owners and management to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned, supporting finance and compliance related initiatives such as ESG reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field
  • Postgraduate or professional qualification in accounting (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred
  • Internship or one year of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with counterparts based in China
