Cyber Security Infra Engineer

Job ID: 19048 Location: ST Engineering Jurong East Bui, SG Description: Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support cyber, system and network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches, servers (OS), etc
• Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution
• Monitor activities, such as device status and bandwidth usage
• When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals / vendors
• Schedule and run periodic maintenance for IT infrastructure at the data centre
• Plan and manage change and or service request or maintenance activities as assigned by team lead according to the SLA, including firmware patches
• Ensure zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure
• Manage Call ticket assigned by service desk according to the SLA
• Managing subcontractors involved with any installation
• Work with other team for maintenance and troubleshooting
• Provide reports and status for monthly SLA reports and other operations requirements

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must have experience in an operations/customer service environment - experience in the IT industry is an advantage
• Good knowledge in System, Network and Network Security
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skill
• Basic knowledge of virtualisation and system is preferred
• Possess a deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls and other network equipment is essential
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Relevant work experience (1 to 3 years) in IT security
• Soft skills – Problem Solving, Communication and Teamwork Skills
• Certification in Information Technology Security field has an advantage
• Willing to be on 24x7 standby
