Key Responsibilities
Education & Experience:
- Prepare coordinated MEP drawings (plans, sections, details) based on design inputs and site conditions.
- Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical, air-conditioning, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
- Incorporaterevisions based on consultant/client feedback and ensure timely updates.
- Maintain organized drawing files and drawing logs.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and project specifications.
- Assist in material take-offs (MTOs) or bill of quantities (BOQ) when required.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in MEP drafting.
- Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or building services projects preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of MEP services layout, installation sequencing, and coordination principles.
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards (e.g. BCA/ Singapore codes, if relevant).
