Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Singapore. We require a professional with a robust background in Insurance /Reinsurance pricing and capital modeling, capable of navigating complex challenges and contributing to strategic initiatives.

The Role

• Execute comprehensive risk analysis and modeling of clients’ portfolios, including complex multinational groups.

• Design and critically evaluate advanced risk management strategies and reinsurance constructs for property and casualty lines, addressing emerging risks such as cyber.

• Structure reinsurance programs for multinational groups, including internal vehicles and captives.

• Innovate and implement pricing models for structured solutions and Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) products.

• Perform capital modeling and assess the strategic impact of reinsurance.

• Apply expert knowledge of IFRS17 within reinsurance contexts to optimize financial outcomes.

• Analyze the balance sheets of insurance companies and evaluate the impact of reinsurance.

• Deliver high-impact presentations and strategic advice to top management of insurance groups.

• Engage actively in renewals, tenders, and diverse ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Fully qualified actuary with extensive experience in reinsurance pricing and capital modeling.

• Demonstrated expertise in the reinsurance market with a strategic mindset.

• Profound understanding of reinsurance pricing, stochastic modeling, and the application of actuarial work in commercial contexts.

• Ability to build pricing models for all lines of business in P&C reinsurance.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with data analytics and programming.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.

• Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills in non-standard scenarios.
