About The Role
As the CFO South Asia, you are accountable for driving profitable and sustainable growth while ensuring proper controls and governance are in place. This position is viewed as strategic business partner to the VP/GM,SEA in delivering strategies and financial commitment for the ~$700M+ business comprising Singapore, Malaysa, Brunei, Vietnam and Thailand. She/he will be responsible for supporting regional growth initiatives in plan development, resources allocation and execution across the Southeast Asia region. Reporting to this role are respective finance leads from 1. SMB (Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei), 2. Vietnam, and 3. Thailand with support from functions of Controllership, CBS, and Tax/Treasury.

Key Responsibilities
As the CFO South Asia, you’ll be responsible for:
- Drive and deliver financial and business objectives through close partnership with VP/GMs and other functional leaders
- Develop and identify performance measures that support the Company's strategic direction
- Partner in the formation of business unit objectives and actions to achieve
- Build best teams and improve succession pipeline at all levels of the finance organization
- Monitor and direct implementation of strategic business plans and tactical objectives
- Develop financial strategies and measures to support growth objectives
- Manage capital requests and achieve working capital plans
- Monitor product costs, pricing, factory/material productivity, and expenses
- Lead financial planning and monitoring of program and product developments
- Manage financial compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley testing and Audit/ACA
- Oversees the development and execution of strategic financial planning, cost reduction strategies and earned value management.
- Develops pricing parameters, revenue recognition policies, approves cost models and ensures that financial commitments are met.
- Directs the organization's financial and / or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
- Evaluates the organization's financial activities and monitors processes to ensure they are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- Advises leadership on financial matters and on the current and future impact on the operations of the organization.
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with minimum10 years of related experience or preferably Master’s degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments
- Experience in progressive accounting, financial reporting and planning
- Ability to operate across organization boundaries and drive results in a matrixed organization
- Strong leadership, organizational and people development skills
- Proven business partnership experience, including driving change and meeting finical objectives in a dynamic environment
- International finance experience in a large multi-national organization
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Forward thinking, strategic and execution oriented
- Work and interface well with various organizations and personnel at all levels
