Quantity Surveyor

Job Scope:

• Prepare tender costings, including bills of quantities, based on tender documents and drawings, while estimating the required materials and labor

• Evaluate and negotiate tenders from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all client requirements are met

• Manage and monitor all project stages to stay within the predetermined budget and control expenses

• Conduct monthly valuations of work in progress and forecast final costs

• Review and approve subcontractor tenders and contracts from a commercial perspective

• Certify subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts

• Track and analyze all commercial information related to the project, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, to ensure adherence to the budget

• Provide all necessary information to Managers or Directors for periodic reviews at designated intervals
  

Requirements:

• Min 4 years of relevant working experience

• Experienced in either Tender QS (securing projects through competitive bidding and cost estimation) or Project QS (manages the financial aspects and cost control of the project during its execution)
