FX/FXO Director (Listed FI)

Lico Resources is partnering with a leading listed financial institution renowned for its commitment to product innovation and market excellence across global markets.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic FX Product Director / SVP to oversee the development and management of FX Futures and Options offerings across Asia. This is a unique opportunity to drive product strategy, support regional client engagement, and influence the future of FX derivatives in a regulated environment.

Role Overview
Based in Singapore, this position will be responsible for shaping the product vision, delivering enhancements, and driving market adoption of FX Futures and Options solutions for institutional clients. The successful candidate will collaborate across business, technology, operations, and compliance teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the FX product roadmap tailored to regional priorities and evolving client needs
• Conduct market analysis to ensure the competitiveness and differentiation of the product portfolio
• Lead end-to-end product development and enhancement initiatives, ensuring successful implementation
• Gather and translate client feedback into actionable product requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver product launches in a compliant and efficient manner
• Represent the product line in client engagements, industry discussions, and market events
• Support business development teams with product training, marketing pitches, and go-to-market collateral
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with applicable frameworks
• Track product performance, adoption rates, and market trends to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Optimize pricing structures, operational workflows, and client experience initiatives to strengthen market positioning

Key Requirements

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in product management, trading, structuring, or strategy roles focused on FX derivatives
• Strong understanding of FX market structure in Asia, including liquidity behavior and client needs
• Familiarity with both exchange-traded and OTC-cleared FX products
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior decision-makers
• Knowledge of regional regulatory requirements relevant to FX products

Preferred:

• In-depth market and technical knowledge of Asian FX forwards and options
• Experience with rates derivatives is advantageous
• Understanding of trading APIs, post-trade processes, and settlement workflows
• Background in electronic trading (RFQ, order book, eFX, streaming, matching)
• Familiarity with operations in financial infrastructure or related environments
