Due to Val-Technik’s plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for a responsible and dedicated Senior Executive (Department Lead) or Assistant Manager.


You will be based in Singapore, being responsible for managing the company’s business infrastructure and liaising with relevant team members and external stake holders to ensure proper governance and operations of the company. Your role’s main focus is to improve while maintaining the operations of the company. You are required to work with minimal supervision in delivering your remit, and you will be accountable for defined parts of the commercial, administrative and operational support to the company. You are part of the Operations Department and will report to the General Manager.


What will you do?

  • Management
  • Lead the Operations Department.
  • Hire, develop and grow operations talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies in a growth-focused environment.
  • Set and communicate department priorities that support the broader organisation’s goals (e.g., revenue acceleration, growth, expansion and improvement of offerings etc.). Align strategy, processes, and decision making across departments.
  • Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals (e.g., revenue acceleration, growth, expansion and improvement of offerings etc.). Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Operations & Logistics
  • Oversee daily operations, including order processing, warehouse coordination, and shipment tracking.
  • Lead and coordinate annual stock take and execute necessary stock adjustments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and operations-related systems.
  • Review and refine business processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, logistics partners, and service providers.
  • Finance & Documentation
  • Handle invoicing, accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR), credit/debit note issuance, and statement of accounts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation through Autocount (ERP) system for orders and invoices.
  • Work Safety Health (WSH) & ISO
  • Conduct risk assessments (RA) and implement safe work procedures.
  • Renew Bizsafe STAR every 3 years.
  • Conduct Internal ISO Audit and renew ISO 45001 & 9001.
  • Ensure compliance of safety standards for all staff.
  • HR & Administrative Support
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for local and foreign staff, including work pass applications.
  • Process staff medical and expense claims and implement staff welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure all staffs are covered by health insurance and company insurances
  • Marketing & Digital Presence
  • Manage and update the company’s website and LinkedIn presence.
    Create and publish marketing articles and improve SEO rankings.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What should I bring?

  • A recognised relevant academic degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field with at least 3-4 years relevant experience in operations, admin, or business support functions.
  • You are proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autocount (or similar accounting/ERP software).
  • You have strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership, teambuilding, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in handling ISO or Bizsafe certifications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or SEO is a plus.
  • Able to perform any other task assigned by manager.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are assets.
