Intern - Trade Finance and Cash Management Sales International Singapore (1 year)

Job purpose:

An exciting opportunity to gain broad experience across Trade Finance and Cash Management. Develop a complete skill set as a foundation for a Transaction Banking management career. Depending on business requirements, and candidate performance during rotations / projects in areas of Strategy and Business management and Sales. Supports Regional Head Asia and Local Head Singapore in planning, strategizing, implementation, execution and reporting tasks.

Key activities:

(1) Strategy and Business Management

• Support the Regional Head and Local Head of Trade Finance and Cash Management in the development and implementation of the business Strategy for Asia and Singapore.
• Develop a view of the business, and an understanding of market, client and regulatory trends.

(2) Sales

• Support of Sales Specialists in the overall communication with the customer and stakeholders within the organisation.
• Assistance to Sales Specialists in preparation of client meetings by compiling internet research on customer and information from internal systems e.g., prepare Terms & Conditions, presentations / pitch decks.
• Supporting marketing initiatives and customer events together with the sales team.
• Assisting the sales team in processing trade finance and cash management transactions for customers.
• Monitor clients’ business and operations at all levels on a timely and ongoing basis to ensure business opportunities are followed up and for thorough credit and financial crime risk monitoring.
• Uploading, maintaining and finalizing pipeline inputs and acknowledging market trends.

Formal education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance/Social Science with GPA 3.5/5 & 3.2/4.
