VIE Singapore - Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager – Sephora South East Asia - January 2026
Sephora is looking for a regional Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager for South East Asia (SEA) operations
Context

It successfully operates more than 2.500 points of sale and 27 websites across Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Its aim is to animate the most loved beauty community in the world.
  • Sephora SEA’s Retail activity spans over six countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and Australia) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as Ion in Singapore and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora e-commerce activities span over eight countries (retail countries excluding India + Philippines, New Zealand, Hong Kong).
    Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with many more stores and countries to come. At the end of 2019, Sephora SEA will operate in nine countries both for Retail and for e-commerce.
  • Sephora SEA is looking to add an experienced Transformation Project Manager to reinforce its capabilities and establish Sephora Supply Chain as an industry leader.

Mission

The Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager’s mission is to drive supply chain projects together with business leaders by providing structured project management methods, develop project documentation and communication.
Beyond a mere coordination of tasks, the role involves leading cross functional teams, providing relevant data analysis, making recommendations to support decision-making, developing process documentation and relevant monitoring tools (KPIs, scorecards) and maintaining post-mortem feedback
Typical projects he / she will be managing:
  • Strategic Projects
    • IT: Implementation and Roll-out over the region of Sephora Asia new SC capabilities (ERP, planning)
  • Network Design
  • Network optimisation: Direct to store phase out, contract negotiation and implementation

Given the rapid expansion of Sephora in the region and the dynamism of both retail and e-commerce business, we expect the SC Project Manager to be proactive in identifying and proposing new opportunities in addition to the projects he will be assigned to
Responsibilities & Key Activities
  • Identifies and aligns the critical steps & milestone of the project
  • Coordinate activities between different functions both regionally and locally - Supply chain, category management, retail ops, marketing etc.
  • Perform analysis of relevant freight allowance, recovery rate proposal and warehouse utilisation and proposed cost model
  • Formulation and management of the timeline of the project and ensures deadlines are met
  • Synchronize key activities and interactions with Regional and local teams to ensure overall deliverables are met
  • Create and manage project governance artefacts
  • Works with the team to look for alternative solutions to issues that are identified
  • Identifies, summarizes, and escalates risks to the Project Steering Committee for resolution
  • Operational reporting of business KPIs improvement from the program
  • Functional & Cross functional change management
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Key competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management or Supply Chain will be preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain principles
  • >3 years’ experience in project management and delivery
  • Experience in either Waterfall or Agile Project Management Methodology
  • Prior experience in Retail, FMCG, Luxury goods will be a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Reporting line

  • Reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain Transformation
