Job description


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Support Consultant to join our team on a 1-year contract basis , with potential for renewal. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the SAP S/4HANA implementation, overseeing the ongoing maintenance of the system, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to end users of our ERP platform. The Consultant will play a crucial role in working with consultants, managing the resolutions of technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, and optimizing processes to enhance the overall support experience.

  • Manage escalated ERP-related issues, collaborating with technical teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Interact with software providers and vendors to coordinate technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage software updates.
  • Provide an advanced level of troubleshooting support in response to complex problems, questions, and inquiries that have been escalated by junior staff.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, applying in-depth knowledge of the ERP system's functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain efficient support processes and workflows, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support services.
  • Ability to deliver basic SAP training to client end-users and prepare end-user training material.
  • Ability to work closely with peers and users to deliver optimum service.
  • Work closely with the direct report to generate and present regular reports on the team's performance, customer satisfaction, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting ERP-related field
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in software and technology troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and ability to understand and navigate new technology quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Report to the head of the department.
