Sales Manager (Ocean Freight)

Our client, a global supply chain solutions provider with over 100 years of experience is currently seeking for a Sales Manager (Ocean Freight).

As part of a 3-man team, the Sales Manager will play a key role in developing sales strategy to acquire new customer across APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Manager will be establishing new trade lanes and drive marketing initiatives. The incumbent will also be involved in updating internal SOPs and sales activity reports.

Successful candidates can expect to join a well-established, reputable organization with a strong industry presence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of sales/business development experience within Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry, with a strong focus on Ocean Freight
• Strong network of customers and contacts within the shipping/logistic industry
• Highly motivated and resilient, with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business acquisitions
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
