ABOUT EQUAL

EQUAL is an Institute of Public Character (IPC) charity that focuses on improving social and mental health and well-being amongst children, youths, persons with special needs, and the elderly. We do this through transformative animal-assisted services which are evidence-based, and have a strong culture of care and service to people, animals and communities. EQUAL partners rescued and retired horses to empower those whom we serve by enhancing their socio-emotional well-being, self-awareness and relationship management skills through animal-assisted programmes – developing resilience and strengthening individuals and communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as a Volunteer Engagement Activator and be part of a growing equine-assisted services industry in Singapore.

You'll understand our volunteers' motivation for supporting EQUAL and encourage them to activate and actualise their potential to EQUAL’s cause; learn how to train, inspire and support our volunteers; build bridges with like-minded organisations to drive mutually beneficial partnerships; assess our volunteer’s impact on our beneficiaries; and ensure everyone has a rewarding and meaningful experience.

If you love working with people/horses/animals, building momentum in projects - and enjoy rolling up your sleeves in both an office and a stable environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a difference!
