Job Descriptions

The Project Engineer (Precast) is a pivotal role and responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing the detailed planning and scheduling of deliveries of precast components. This role require candidate to have a strong background in project management, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to think ahead to ensure production finish on time and within budget. The Project Engineer (Precast) will work closely with different teams, including project managers, engineers and clients to make sure the plans for projects are practical and effective.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Submit weekly site progress reports.
  • To Liaise with Client for delivery schedule for the whole project.
  • Ensure that delivery is on time as per Client’s required delivery schedules
  • Daily joint inspection with Client’s representatives on precast components before offloading.
  • Raise non-conformance report for rejected panels to Project Managers.
  • To ensure precast components are offload within 2 hours upon arrival.
  • To indicate the incoming time and out-going time of trailers on delivery orders.
  • To indicate no of timbers that Clients do not return on delivery orders.
  • To ensure that all delivery orders are signed and stamp.
  • To liaise with Clients on proper storage of precast components. For any improper storage, Project Engineer must inform Client in writing.
  • To records RTO, RE and Client comments on quality of precast components. And email to Project Managers on a weekly basis.
  • To lead a team of workers for site repairing.
  • To raise Purchase requisition for materials for site repairing.
  • To liaise with WSHO officer to brief transporter & workers.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in building construction industry.
  • Strong interest in construction-built environment industry
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage
  • Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
