Job Responsibilities

  • Racking and stacking of Network devices, equipment’s, and servers.
  • Provisioning, installing configuration, Monitoring and Managing the network Equipment’s in the operation of supported Network.
  • All kind of Data centre tasks like cabling, Labelling, cable dressing, Level-1 and Level-2 support for all kind of Network devices.
  • Interacting with vendors, outsourcers, and customers.
  • Working experience in the Data centre Deployment Projects
  • Working experience in the Manufacturing Clean room and corporate office environment.
  • Responsible for Data centre asset management, inventory Management.
  • Maintaining and updating inventories for Manufacturing Plant, DC, corporate office and providing onsite support to all Site, DC and Co-location Data centre.
  • Installation and configuration of all cisco 2960, 3650, 3850, 9300, 9500, Cisco 4500x switches and ASR 1001 and cisco ASR1002-HX routers, Thunder, FTAP, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower 2130, 2140 and 9300 devices, F5 Load balancer devices, Cisco 5520 and 5508 wireless controller and iXia Packet broker device.
  • Level-1 and Level-2 troubleshooting of all Data centre Network devices.
  • Biweekly device health checks (Monitoring Critical Alerts) for all Co-location DC Devices - site walk.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning all kind of network Equipment’s.
  • Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades when it required.
  • Monitoring health status of network Devices in the corporate site and DC (all switches and routers) and upgrading the client recommended firmware/codes.
  • Responsible for day-to-day Onsite-Support for Operations in the Manufacturing Plant and DC network infrastructure.
  • Responsible for providing IT support to end-user such as setting up of PC and Network peripherals.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem fixing of Avaya Phone and end user LAN point connectivity issues, Wireless network issues.
  • A periodic (minimum twice weekly) visual check of the iTER/Server rooms for cooling and power status (specifically UPS alarms and PDU health) Control-M, EMC Avamar, Data Domain.
  • Basic Knowledge of Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, etc…
  • Assisting to network team and Data centre (Internal, Customer and Vendor) as required during technical troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting problems in the Manufacturing wired and Wireless networks.
  • Knowledge to understand Monitoring Tool outcome.
  • Basic knowledge of ITSM tool preferably ServiceNow.
  • Experience in SLA base environment


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT with proven experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switches
  • Proficiency in server and storage hardware, including Dell, HP ⁠
  • Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud technologies, such as VMware, AWS, and Azure
  • Possess relevant certification such as CCNA
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies is a plus.
