Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a team of passionate Sales Directors, Managers, and Analysts within the region.
  • Define and drive strategies to achieve quarterly revenue targets as set by the CEO.
  • Shape the go-to-market strategy, including new business development, market expansion, and client retention efforts.
  • Continuously evaluate business opportunities across countries and client segments.
  • Represent the voice of the region to the executive team, providing insights on opportunities, risks, and key needs.

Sales Execution

  • Originate, manage, and close deals in the corporate and banking sectors.
  • Present tailored pitches, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Oversee client RFP responses, pricing models, and negotiation of contract terms.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles including pilots, mandates, implementations, and integrations.
  • Track and manage sales leads through internal and external networks.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to deepen engagement and unlock cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support client training (onsite/virtual), issue resolution, renewals, and contract management.
  • Serve as the key escalation point for client concerns, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure SLAs are met and BAU processes run smoothly.

Product & Market Feedback

  • Consolidate client and market feedback to influence product enhancements and feature development.
  • Work with Product and Technology teams to align on roadmap priorities and address client-specific needs.
  • Provide input into risk management strategies by identifying platform and process risks.

Talent & Team Management

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent across the region.
  • Manage ongoing performance, development plans, and engagement initiatives.
  • Build a talent pipeline to meet both current and future business needs.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze client data and transaction trends to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare reports and insights for the executive team, highlighting progress and market developments.
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market.

Essential Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in SAAS sales
  • A proven history of meeting sales targets and boosting profitability
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data
  • Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal cross functional teams and external client teams.
  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling operations, achieving profitability through monetization, and driving growth in a rapidly growing / dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of the banking or trade finance industry is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities to drive engagement, retention, and a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience working in Private Equity, Insurance, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Treasury or FX industries is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in CRM, opportunity management and qualification processes.
  • Self-starter and driven with an ability to inspire and nurture.
