WELDING SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller & etc.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings.
• Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.

Requirements:

• Min. 1 year Mechanical or welding work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Able to do field work.
