MECHANICAL ENGINEER - WELDING & FABRICATION

We are looking for a motivated and experienced QualityEngineer specializing in welding and metal fabrication works to join our team.
Job Scope & Requirements:
- Well versed in welding processes, fabrication, and metal working parts
- Able to interpret and review WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)
- Experience in assisting and coordinating WQT (Welder Qualification Tests)
- Familiar with welding quality standards and inspection requirements
- Able to undertake basic project management and coordinate welding-related production planning
- Conduct in-house NDT inspections and follow up on welding quality matters
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and customers on technical and quality requirements
- Ensure welding works comply with project specifications and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fabrication / metal works industry
- Independent, responsible, and able to work closely with operations team
