Job Summary
Metta Home for the Disabled offers long-term residential care for adults with intellectual and multiple disabilities. You will collaborate with social workers and care staff to support residents’ well-being and daily needs in a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform filing, data entry, scheduling, and report preparation to support centre administration
- Assist Social Workers in managing cases and conducting client follow-ups to ensure effective service delivery
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and home visits to facilitate timely client support
- Support the planning and execution of programmes, outreach events, and community activities to engage residents and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate client records while ensuring confidentiality and data protection
- Contribute to daily centre operations and collaborate with team members to enhance service quality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Community Care & Social Services, or related fields
- Experience in administrative roles, ideally within social service or healthcare sectors
- Experience supporting casework, programmes, or client administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
- Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
