Dental Surgery Assistant (Part Time)

Job Summary

Join Maple Dental @ Kovan as a Dental Assistant supporting dentists in patient care, instrument preparation, sterilization, and clinic cleanliness. Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Support dentists by preparing and providing appropriate instruments and materials for dental procedures
• Maintain patient comfort throughout dental treatments by assisting and monitoring patient needs
• Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to meet hygiene standards
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure availability of dental supplies
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe clinic environment
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to facilitate smooth operations
• Use computer skills to assist with clinic administrative tasks as needed
• Collaborate as a team player to support clinic workflow and patient care

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training provided
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Computer literacy
• Open to A-level/O-level/Poly/University students interested in holiday work
